Writing Other Worlds, The Boston Globe

The illustrations above and below for The Boston Globe accompanied Joan Wickersham's story about great teachers.

Wickersham writes about how transformative the teacher-student relationship can be: "Every now and then, a student is lucky enough to land in the classroom of one of the great teachers... the ones who ignite you with their own passion for a subject. They show you who you are and where you might be going. They’re the ones you remember all your life, long after the test scores have been forgotten."
