Desert Roses, The Globe and Mail

My illustration "Desert Roses" accompanied a story by author Dawn Ruddick in the February 12, 2010 edition of The Globe and Mail. The story is about how she met her husband while working for an NGO in Namibia. For their first Valentine's Day, she wished for flowers. When no roses were to be had in the Namibian desert, he made 100 papers ones.
