Appearing June 11, 2009 in The Globe and Mail, Lindsay LeBlanc's story is about how she came to do a PhD in quantum optics, studying obscure phenomena such as Bose-Einstein condensate, among other things.
LeBlanc writes, "Physics is worth knowing because it is beautiful. It's the hidden secret of the scientist. ...Like an artist, I want to share this beauty with others, I want them to know what it is to see through my eyes."
Art Director: Cinders McLeod.
Collection of Nicholas Neary and Kristine Spekkens.
