Hospital Waiting Room

I did this painting in 2008 when I was commissioned to make a poster for a choir who were performing Diane Benjamin's Where I Live: A Breast Cancer Oratorio. In the end we used something different for the poster, although I always envisioned completing this painting by adding a field of sunflowers over top. It was a magic realism idea, illustrating both where one is and where one would rather be.
